Vicki spent her early childhood years in Wyoming; she and her family later moved to the Cullman area in order to pursue other interests. A graduate of Cullman High School, she received her Associates Degree in Business from Wallace State Community College. She worked in the banking field for SouthTrust Bank in Birmingham for 4 years before leaving to start her own family. She and her husband Jerry have one daughter, Whitney. Vicki was a stay-at-home mom for 12 years and was actively involved in both Vacation Bible School and the PTA, serving as vice-president of the latter. Now a member of Northbrook Baptist Church, she enjoys traveling and tennis. She is also a member of both the Cullman Area Tennis Association (CATA) and the United States Tennis Association (USTA), previously serving as secretary of CATA and currently serving on its Tournament & Social Committee while playing on 2 USTA teams and 1 CATA team.
After working for 4 years in a family-owned business, Vicki joined Office Equipment Company in June of 2005. She has brought to our company her unique abilities in furniture sales, layout & design and customer service. She enjoys working in direct contact with each customer from the initial concept of a project to completion. Her responsibilities during an installation start from consultations with our customers in order to determine their needs and budgets, then through the actual research and design process where she works very closely with our manufacturers, often using 3-D CAD drawings and other layouts produced from blueprints or measurements taken on-site in our final quoting process. With numerous installations under her belt over the last three years, Vicki has proven to be a vital part of the Furniture Department and the OEC family.
