Jo Kreps -

 

Jo, a native of Cullman County and a graduate of Hanceville High School, has been employed with Office Equipment Company since 1981. Prior to joining the company staff, she traveled as Senior Property Manager for Gatehouse Management Company based out of Huntsville, Alabama, and was employed with that firm for eight years.  She has attended numerous management/sales courses and seminars throughout her career and has attended Wallace State College for classes in the Interior Design field.  Jo has been a supply customer service representative for Office Equipment Company and has worked in other departments as well, but her love for the contract furniture industry has filled her time for the last nine years as furniture sales manager.

As furniture sales manager, she enjoys the responsibilities pertaining to the day-to-day management of the department and the furniture showrooms.   The relationship she has with the furniture staff and with our customers is the most satisfying aspect of her job.  She enjoys the challenge of working within a customer's budget and providing the best possible commercial product at a competitive price. From the initial conception of a project, she is involved with the many steps to its completion:  Site inspections and consultations, research, layout and design, preparation of quotes, presentations, ordering of product, scheduling installations, completion of installations and our final goal, “The satisfied customer.”
