Jimmy, the second son of the founder of Office Equipment Company, Joseph Kreps, has many years of training and experience in all aspects of the company. He is a graduate of Cullman High School and attended the University of Alabama prior to his coming back home in 1971 to continue the tradition of a family owned and operated business with his brothers. He has attended various schools and training seminars pertaining to the office supply, machines and furniture industry. This training, along with his inherited knowledge of the company, makes him a respected authority in many areas.
At present Jimmy is one of our customer service representative for the supply department, head installation specialist for the furniture department and assistant systems specialist. His duties consist of, but are not limited to: solving customers supply problems in house or by phone – working closely with the furniture department and our many furniture manufacturers on all furniture specifications for installations, working with the furniture department on scheduling and implementations of daily furniture deliveries/installations and assisting our systems specialist with any problems that may arise while continuing his systems training.
